What You Will Get To Do:

Conduct systems programming and support activities, such as installing new or revising program language codes, processing routines, and report generators.

Monitors effective language codes, processing routines, hardware use, and use of database management techniques.

Prepares and conducts system and programming tests requiring interfacing of hardware and software.

Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency.

Advanced professional leading medium to large projects or working on complex or high-profile issues that require a broad perspective, conceptual thinking, and in-depth analysis to identify solutions.

What You Will Bring:

Master's degree and 4 years of related experience, or Bachelor's degree and 6 years of related experience, or high school degree and 8 years of related experience.

Experience in mainframe as a systems programmer who will be supporting the day to day functions of an IBM/z environment.

You will install, modify, test, and debug operating systems and third party system software. You will have a strong understanding of the following: z/OS operating system and system structures, SMPE software installation, JCL, Jes2, TSO, z/OS Security, z/OS networking

Education and Experience Requirements:

Master's degree and 4 years of related experience, or Bachelor's degree and 6 years of related experience, or high school degree and 8 years of related experience
