Position Summary:

Sunrise Global Marketing (Greenworks) is looking for a full time Finance Analyst to further grow its Greenworks brand. This position will play an active role in partnering with the business to assess margin, cost/volume profit, product costing and pricing, providing standard monthly and ad hoc reporting, and budgeting/forecasting support. This position may also play a small role in the general accounting process, assisting with month-end close related tasks, and performing journal entries and reconciliations. This candidate must be able to remain at a stationary position (sitting or standing) for extended periods of time, have the dexterity required to operate a computer keyboard and mouse, and be able to transport themselves to/from the office daily.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Prepare Proforma Financial Statements to analyze pricing and margin at a highly detailed level.

Accurately cost inventoriable product and analyze variances to standard.

Accrue, track, report, investigate, and reclass Sales Allowance Expenses (Returns, Discounts, Chargebacks, etc.)

Correct issues in orders, billing, invoice, credit memo documents

Prepare, analyze, and distribute standard cadence and ad hoc financial reports based on actual, budgeted, or forecasted performance.

Gather complete documentation/support to be provided to the external auditors as needed.

Complete month-end journal entries, accruals, reclasses, and reconciliations.

Assist in the budgeting & forecasting process.

Partner with cross functional teams to measure and improve company KPI’s.

Performs other duties as required.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.

CPA, CMA, or MBA certifications preferred.

3+ years of accounting or finance related work experience
