- The Perioperative Clerical Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the daily Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) schedules to facilitate maximum utilization, efficiency and minimum procedure related and bed placement problems.
- Ensures that daily charges are processed, by following department guidelines and ensures that all Perioperative documentation is complete and accurate.
- Performs a variety of administrative and clerical activities to support efficient department operations.
- Reviews scheduled cases daily and arranges for all reasonably anticipated requirements by coordinating with Radiology, Laboratory, Patient Units, Bed Placement, Materials Management and other departments as appropriate.
- Gathers all components of the medical record and arranges it in the correct order in patient charts and department records; Ensures that each patient entering the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) has an available medical record.

- Experience - 1 year of relevant experience
- Education - High School diploma or equivalent
