Current Openings: Customer Service Specialist Job Title: Customer Service Specialist Department: Customer Service Job Summary: Olson Plumbing & Heating Co. is looking for a Customer Service Specialist. This individual will be part of a vibrant team tasked with communicating with our service customers and service team. Olson Plumbing & Heating Co., a family-owned business with the reputation of commitment to integrity and customer service, has been a successful business in Colorado Springs since 1917. The right candidate will have a background in: Successful performance in an office setting Phone experience with customers Microsoft Office Document control Working on a team Essential Functions: Receives incoming customer calls Listens to customers inquiries; asks questions to determine service needs Coordinates with dispatch for proper scheduling Prepares work orders to assign service technicians to various locations Monitors daily service calendar to acquire awareness of scheduling availability Calls customers to communicate about upcoming appointments, including confirming and scheduling monthly maintenance contract appointments Files customer paperwork Researches service work order paperwork; brings unbilled work orders to the attention of the Service Manager Enters new customer information and work orders into the accounting system Provides administrative support to Service Manager as needed Maintains a well-organized work environment May be cross-trained in other service administrative work such as scheduling and preparing paperwork for backflow customers or preparing maintenance agreements for customers Performs other relevant and related duties as assigned by Service Manager Pay Range: Hourly pay range is $20.00 $23.00 depending on experience.
