This position offers a three-day-per-week schedule (8am-5pm) and includes both outpatient and inpatient responsibilities in a busy endocrinology practice. The locum will collaborate closely with advanced practice providers and office staff, providing care for adult patients with an emphasis on diabetes management. Job Details Location: Ohio Facility Type: Outpatient Department Start Date: Jan 12, 2026 LOA: 72 days Provider Type Needed: Endocrinologist Schedule: 3 days per week, 8am-5pm Responsibilities and Duties Provide outpatient endocrinology care with additional inpatient responsibilities Manage a patient load of 16-18 adults per day, ranging from age 18 through the lifespan Address complex cases with a focus on diabetes control Collaborate with office specialists, medical assistants, registered nurses, and advanced practice providers Utilize the EPIC EMR system for documentation and patient management Demonstrate strong general endocrinology knowledge in clinical decision-making Additional Information Board Certification in Endocrinology required Must hold an active Ohio medical license or be eligible through IMLC LOQ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Experience working in busy practice settings preferred Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
