Marks , O'Neill, O'Brien, Doherty & Kelly a Premier Law Firm in Philadelphia Is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Accounting Team,Duties:- Perform daily tasks related to accounts receivable, including invoicing, posting payments, and reconciling customer accounts.- Contact customers regarding outstanding balances and assist with resolving any billing issues or discrepancies.- Utilize accounting software (such as PeopleSoft) to input and maintain accurate financial data.- Analyze customer payment trends and identify potential collection issues.- Collaborate with the corporate accounting team to ensure accurate and timely reporting of accounts receivable information.- Follow established procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).- Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements related to accounts receivable.Experience:- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounts receivable role, preferably in a corporate or governmental accounting setting.- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and their application to accounts receivable processes.- Proficient in using accounting software.- Excellent mathematical skills and ability to analyze financial data.- Experience with medical collections is a plus.- Strong negotiation and communication skills for interacting with customers regarding payment matters.We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages.
