The

Mechanical Engineer

will have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience working with PLCs in a

manufacturing

setting, and be responsible for:

Testing and troubleshooting issues to identify root cause Designing and building new systems using existing software or creating new software Performing regular maintenance on systems, such as updating software and backing up data Conducting initial setup of equipment and machinery, including wiring diagrams and control system diagrams Installing, maintaining, and repairing control systems on production lines for process flow, networks and heating and cooling Installing and maintaining electrical components such as motors, switches, relays, and transformers

The ideal

Mechanical Engineer

for this role will be well versed in the following:

Brazing & soldering Motors, pumps, sheaves, and belts Packaging and manufacturing machine repair and maintenance Proper preventative maintenance techniques PLC diagnostics and calibration Ability to work independently and within a team Experience with Siemens, Allen Bradley, Honeywell, and Omron

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar preferred.
