3Ci is seeking a Senior Node.js/PostgreSQL Developer with exceptional communication skills and extensive experience in Agile methodologies for our Client, a leading payments partner. The role primarily involves backend development, creating APIs with Node.js that interact with databases using PostgreSQL scripting. Knowledge of React, AWS, and microservices processes is beneficial.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of solid Node.js and PostgreSQL experience, along with expertise in building RESTful APIs and familiarity with the OpenAPI specification. Experience with AWS and/or React is a plus.

Work Schedule
  • Employees near main offices may work on-site a few days a week, while remote work is an option for those farther away
Essential Functions
  • Design, develop, and maintain the company's web applications in collaboration with the IT Manager and Team Lead
  • Develop APIs using Node.js and PostgreSQL, with a focus on backend processes
  • Participate in continuous learning to adapt to new technologies and processes, making recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with business and development teams to gather and refine design requirements
  • Mitigate project risks and escalate potential blockers as necessary
  • Research and provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions
  • Provide proof of concept through rapid prototyping
  • Document and monitor requirements for proposed updates
  • Ensure system architectures align with organizational goals
  • Recommend process changes to improve software implementation, maintenance, and support
  • Perform other tasks as required
