**Lynn Electronics**, a manufacturer and distributor of copper and fiber cable assembly products, is seeking experienced Copper Cable Assemblers to join our growing and energetic team. The Assembler will have a strong attention to detail, good dexterity and flexibility to adjust to customer needs.

Our Copper Cable Assembler will be responsible for the following:

* Preparation, assembly and testing of cable by following our detailed and defined processes and procedures.

* Assembling copper cable including cutting, stripping, and terming wires

* Automated crimping tools are used for most products

* Soldering interconnections per IPC-620 standard

* Reading and following work orders in English

* Maintaining high quality standards and following our quality control system.

This position requires the person to be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.

We are hiring for day shift.

Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm.

**Requirements**

* 1+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment

* Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time

* Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

* Strong verbal and written understanding of English

* Computer literate for simple inspection, data entry in Excel

* Outstanding attendance and strong work ethic

* Positive attitude and team player

* Experience inspecting electronic assemblies against Bill of Materials (BOMs) and customer criteria.

**Preferences**

* Experience with basic electronic test equipment

* Prior experience with soldered interconnections

* Current or past J-STD-001 / IPC-620 certification
