FSCA, the largest independent fleet maintenance company in the country, is currently hiring an On-Call Shop Driver. As an On-Call Shop Driver, you will be responsible for providing support to the School Bus Sales department including the effective and efficient distribution of heavy-duty parts within a predetermined territory.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • On Call role, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of two (2) hours per week.
  • Washing and cleaning 100-300 school buses annually for delivery to clients.
  • Follow-up driver responsible for following school bus delivery driver when making school bus delivery to client site and bringing back to shop when completed.
  • Always portray a welcome and positive image of the company
  • Utilize delivery and shipment methods to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage all delivery related paperwork.
  • Communicate with customers to ensure proper delivery.
  • Maintain general work area in a clean and safe condition.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Safe Drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to frequently climb in and out of a vehicle.
  • Ability to exert 36 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 22 to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 11 to 15 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated by the ability to build successful business relationships.
  • Ability to meet performance expectations by effectively managing time and priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and complete work with a sense of urgency.
  • Microsoft Office experience required.
