Job Summary:

This person will be responsible for packing supplies from our central supply location and delivering the supplies to our clinics located in Junction, Mason, Menard, Fredericksburg, and Brady. This person will pick up medications from Health Center Pharmacy and deliver medications to the correct clinic for patient pickup. Monthly clinic inspections will be done by this person to verify that the clinics are clean and the lawn maintenance is being done. Maintenance such as replacing light bulbs and changing air filters will be done monthly or as needed. You will also be responsible for scheduling vehicle maintenance as needed.

•Packing supply orders according to order sheet and labeling each order for the correct location

•Inform supervisor if supplies are expired, near expiration, or damaged

•Vehicle maintenance: inspect vehicle for maintenance needs, report any mechanical issues, maintain a clean and organized vehicle

•Load all orders for delivery

•Load any tools for maintenance for needed repairs at clinic locations

•Verify that light bulbs and air filters are available at clinics as needed

•Check off that task was completed and have clinic staff verify and sign off that task was completed

•Delivering medications: Transporting medications and medical supplies to medical clinics

•Maintaining records: Keeping accurate delivery logs and prescription records

•Obtaining signatures: Getting a signature to confirm delivery

•All duties as assigned

Requirements

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or equivalent

SKILLS:

•Valid State of Texas driver's license. Must be insurable and bondable

•Ability to read English and follow instructions

•Ability to interact courteously and communicate effectively

•Ability to work with minimal supervision and organize time well

•Skill in understanding of handling prescriptions and ensuring appropriate temperature control and transportation of pharmaceuticals.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

•Visual and auditory accuracy

•Shift length - 8 hours

•Ability to drive 5-6 hours per day and make several stops while maintaining concentration, and deal with a variety of stressful situations including adverse weather, traffic, and deadlines

•Continuous repetitive grasping and manipulation of both hands

•Occasional reaching, walking, squatting, bending, kneeling, twisting, and climbing

•Occasionally carrying, lifting, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 lbs.

•Occasionally working in confined, noisy, dusty areas

•Understand/carry out simple/detailed, oral/written instructions with retention

•Read and interpret detailed specifications

•Subject to random drug tests
