Our client a top tier financial services firm in the Jacksonville, FL area. They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Trade Support Analyst to join our team, focusing on post-execution trade activities for US and global fixed-income instruments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in middle office and trade support operations, with at least 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry. This role requires a self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, working closely with the front and back office to ensure smooth trade processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Post-Trade Processing: Manage all post-trade activities, including trade booking, cancellations, corrections, and fee reconciliations.

- Process Improvement: Proactively identify and implement opportunities to enhance settlement efficiency through straight-through processing (STP) initiatives.

- Reconciliations & Reporting: Perform daily reconciliation of trades, management reports, and settlement tracking. Develop and maintain performance benchmarks and management reports to track operational efficiency.

- Regulatory Compliance: Assess and adapt to changes in regulatory and industry standards, ensuring compliance with all trade-related processes.

- Discrepancy Resolution: Liaise with counterparties to calculate, track, and reconcile settlements, and work to resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.

- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with back-office teams to address and resolve trade-related issues, while also contributing to company wide initiatives aimed at improving the trade flow ecosystem.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field is required.

- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in middle office or trade support roles, with a strong understanding of trade processes, fees, and corrections. Fixed income industry knowledge is preferred.

- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to analyze data, build reports, and perform complex reconciliations.

- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, with excellent business judgment and attention to detail.

- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across various teams.

- Adaptability: A team player who can manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic and evolving environment.

- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Ability to work independently, with a proactive and energetic approach to improving trade support processes.
