POSITION SUMMARY

The Sr. BI Analyst will work directly with the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team, which plays a critical role in financial reporting, analysis, and planning. The Sr. Analyst will own maintaining and enhancing the FP&A team's master dataset, a set of data which is used for daily financial and operational reporting and serves as a backbone of financial analysis. Consequently, the analyst will be a subject matter expert on financial data and will lead or advise on key financial analyses.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintains and enhances FP&A's key financial dataset which updates daily and is utilized throughout the organization. a suite of internal management reporting, highlighting insights and trends detected in the reporting.
  • Ensures timely and accurate updates of FP&A's key financial dataset and troubleshoots any issues in data processing.
  • Monitors and maintains the integrity and accuracy of reporting and data sources.
  • Assists in the development of reporting for weekly operational and financial business reviews. Partners with business teams to identify the appropriate KPIs. Ensures accurate measurement of the KPIs.
  • Communicates findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through reports, dashboards, and presentations.
  • Continuously improves and optimizes reports and models to adapt to changing business needs and new data.
  • Designs and develops interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools, notably Power BI.
  • Analyzes data to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that can guide strategic decisions.

  • Verbal and written communication
  • 5, or more, years of experience in finance or data/bi roles
  • Degree in math, finance, data science preferred
  • Intermediate SQL
  • Strong Microsoft, especially in PowerQuery
  • Intermediate in visualization software (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
  • No specific industry
