Material Handler This position is responsible forhandling, picking, packing, and preparing a wide range of specific components,assemblies, and materials to produce modification kits in accordance with BLRAerospace-issued Packlists and Standard Operating Procedures.The Material Handler performsa variety of equipment operating, inventory, and kitting duties such as partpicking according to BOM/Pack list, assembling, inspecting, labeling,packaging, etc. to make and process parts and kits that meet BLR's high qualityspecifications, while following prescribed procedures. Our BLR Aerospace operation is a leading provider of proprietary aerodynamic systems that enhance the productivity, performance and safety of rotary- and fixed-wing aircraft.Job Summary Responsible for overall warehouse operations and activities including but not limited to:Pick, pack, and prepare various components for customer shipmentsAssist in managing inventory by participating in cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, and coordinating stock adjustments with Production ControlOperate forklift, hand-truck and other material moving equipmentTransferring and transportation of all materials to designated locationsShipping & receiving, unloading & loading trucks, and checking-in and out materialConduct identification and damage inspections of incoming shipmentsAdhere to parts replenishment system for inventory and internal kit fabricationFollow Work Instructions and processes to ensure manufactured parts and kit content meet the company's FAA-approved Quality Management SystemAssist in the creation and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to continuously improve operational efficiencyUtilize company computer systemsManage and meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Maintain a clean, organized and safe environment throughout the warehouseIdentify and isolate product which does not meet BLR's Quality standardsReceiving Data EntryOther related duties as requiredRequired Skills and Qualifications High attention to detail and experience with inventoryAccuracy in part selection and kitting, and cycle countsExperience operating a forkliftCapable of standing for extended periodsLifting upwards of 50 lbs consistentlyIdeally, but not essential, experience in working in a manufacturing type of environmentSelf-starter requiring limited supervision, and able to perform job assignments with a very high degree of accuracyExcellent interpersonal skills and be able to interact with a wide variety of people.A keen eye for detail and a quality-focused approach to producing accurate work Required Experience and Education H.S.
