Job Location: Chicago, IL or Richardson, TX (Hybrid role; relocation not offered; sponsorship not available)

Contract Duration: Long-term contract with the potential for full-time hire based on performance and business needs.

Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced CyberArk Engineer specializing in the Conjur portion of the platform, with a focus on Application Access Manager (AAM). This is a straight contractor role with a six-month contract extending through the end of the year, with a strong possibility for extension. The role is crucial for knowledge transfer and ongoing project support, with the potential to transition to a full-time position based on performance and funding.

Job Responsibilities:

• Execute the assessment service for business-critical systems.
• Support, maintain, and prioritize a roadmap for the information security vulnerability monitoring and assessment service.
• Continuously assess the organization's posture regarding security vulnerabilities that could affect the technology stack.
• Develop and maintain metrics, reports, and presentations on vulnerability monitoring and assessment services.
• Support enhancement of the existing vulnerability management processes and streamline remediation efforts.
• Work on day-to-day tasks involving 168 applications, ensuring credential secrets are stored in CyberArk Safe and verifying application credentials.
• Create and implement controls and processes for credential management.
• Manage the transition of decommissioned applications into the new AAM.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and other team members on various projects.
• Contribute to the Conjur upgrade process, although it may not be the primary project.

Additional Information:

• The role requires immediate availability to ramp up knowledge transfer from the current contractor who will be leaving at the end of the month.
• The contractor will be supported by a team of three, with a fourth position being opened.

Required Job Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree with 4 years of IT security experience OR 6 years of IT security experience.
• Experience in computer architecture, operating systems, inter-process communications, networking protocols, and their related implementations.
• Experience with and understanding of compiled and interpreted programs and the types of security issues possible in each; database systems, web servers, application servers, mainframes, firewalls, routers, load balancers, switches, and different types of middleware; x86 assembly.
• Strong verbal and concise written communication skills.
• Excellent organization and multi-tasking skills.
• CyberArk experience is a must.
• Expertise in CyberArk Application Identity Access Management (AAM) and Conjur.
