Position Warehouse Manager

Responsibilities:

• Managing the warehouse in line

  with the Company's

  policies.
• Oversee and manage the daily workflow of the warehouse on all three shifts for receiving (unloading), warehousing, material handling (for production) and shipping (loading) operations.
• Ensuring receiving/warehousing/shipping staff adheres to warehouse and handling requirements, Quality Management System standard operating procedures and safety policies/standards.
• Using the warehouse space to achieve peak efficiencies. Responsible for warehouse organization and cleanliness.
• Responsible for receiving goods according to standard operating procedures. Report any deviations (i.e., quantity, quality, item #) to Procurement Manager and Technical Manager.
• Oversee raw materials staging according to scheduled Work Order daily. Report any shortfall of materials.
• Responsible for cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy. Monitor inventory levels.
• Develop and implement warehouse safety policies and procedures.
• Implement appropriate safety and health, accident prevention, and investigation training for managers and supervisors.
• Assists management in the annual inspection of workplaces to assure safe and healthful conditions for workers.
• Maintains a written log of safety inspection activities, reports, and correspondence.Collaborate

  with the HR Manager

  where required.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Three or more years of experience in a warehouse role.

• Proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies. Familiar with inventory control practices.

• Proficient with computers. Comfortable using inventory management software and Microsoft Office.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities

• Excellent organizational skills a must

• Attention to detail

• Ability to prioritize tasks and good time management skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff

• Ability to deliver effective feedback, both written and verbal

• License to operate a forklift

• Understanding of safety rules. Experienced in safety management policies.

• Physical strength and ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
