Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial operations. As part of our dynamic team, you will contribute to the success of our organization by performing comprehensive accounting, auditing, financial analysis, and reporting tasks. You will support the organization by handling budgeting, accounts receivable, and accounts payable functions while adhering to our values of integrity and respect for all. Responsibilities: Conduct detailed accounting functions, including general ledger management, budgeting, and financial analysis to ensure accurate financial records. Prepare and present regular financial reports to management. Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate processing. Support the annual budget preparation process, monitoring compliance with approved budgets. Adhere to all relevant regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures to ensure ethical financial practices. Provide financial support to departmental projects and initiatives as needed. Compensation is commensurate upon education and experience. Hiring compensation ranges from $24.10 per hour. This is a non-exempt position. Key Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. Experience: 1+ years of accounting experience minimum required. Core Competencies: Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex financial data, draw insights, and make recommendations. Attention to Detail: Maintain high standards for accuracy and completeness in all accounting work. Customer Service: Commitment to providing excellent service to patients, families, and internal stakeholders. Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively across departments and disciplines. Physical & Work Environment Requirements: Physical Demands: Ability to lift and move objects up to 30 pounds; prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking.
