Job Title: Lead Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer with expertise in Full Stack JavaScript (React/Node) to join our growing team. As a leader in our organization, you will play a crucial role in guiding our development team, driving technical excellence, and contributing to the optimization of our software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance, support, and expertise.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Design and develop robust and scalable full stack applications using JavaScript technologies such as React and Node.js.
  • Conduct code reviews, pair programming sessions, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps functions, including automation, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure the team remains innovative and competitive.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize tasks, resolve technical issues, and deliver high-quality software solutions on time.
  • Collaborate with QA engineers to implement effective testing strategies and ensure software quality.
  • Participate in architectural discussions, technical design sessions, and contribute to the overall technical vision of the company.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in Full Stack JavaScript development, providing guidance and support to junior team members as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Full Stack JavaScript technologies such as React and Node.js.
  • Proven experience in leading and mentoring software development teams, including conducting code reviews and pair programming sessions.
  • Solid understanding of software development methodologies, Agile practices, and DevOps principles.
  • Experience with optimizing SDLC processes, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Demonstrated passion for learning new technologies and staying updated on industry trends.
