The RoleIn order to support growth and increase in manufacturing capacity, Entegris is looking for an experienced Fab Facility/Equipment Engineer to join our team in Colorado. This engineer will be directly responsible for conceptualization, design, and implementation of VOC abated minienvironments within manufacturing facilities. This is an innovative role that will be supporting new factory and equipment design from VOC abatement perspective and implementation of such systems. This role will entail researching and developing new and Innovative Technologies and systems to be implemented within Entegris facilities to enhance contamination controls and drive down VOC presence in state-of-the-art manufacturing environments. What You'll Do: Mechanical Design and Support of the following systemsPoint of Use Abatement Systems for manufacturing and assembly EquipmentCleanroom Mechanical Systems including Fan Filter Units (FFUs) with chemical filtrationCleanroom Systems including Raised Floor, Walls, Air Circulation and PurificationMake-Up Air and Air Handler Systems including FCUsDirect Expansion (DX) air handling systemsGeneral ExhaustScrubbed Acid and Caustic Exhaust AbatementVolatile Organic Compound (VOC) AbatementSystem Design ResponsibilitiesOwner Project Design RequirementsManufacturing Equipment Utility DemandsSystem Design Capacity vs Demand AnalysisSpace Management ConsiderationsSustainability ConsiderationsSystem Sequence of OperationProcess Flow DiagramsPiping and Instrumentation DiagramsCollaboration with existing site operations and maintenance teams for design inputPermitting and Building Code compliance related to mechanical systems and associated infrastructureEnsure developed designs are standardized and ready for use for future design projectsProject Support ActivitiesSubmittal Review and ApprovalTimely Request for Information (RFI) resolutionAlternate equipment selection approvalSite visits and verification of designSupplier Responsibilities - One responsibility of this role will be contracting with external design firms for additional support.Design Scope Statement of WorkProject management of design scopesFinancial responsibilities managing design scope budgetTechnological InnovationDevelop new strategies of implementing systems to improve reliability, cost, and construction efficienciesInvolvement and Participation in contamination control forums at EntegrisWhat We Seek: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience required5 years or more experience in Semiconductor Facilities and/or Equipment designOver 8 years' experience in Facilities industry involving HVAC and/or clean room systemsAbility to manage and direct technicians and contractors as well as coordinate multiple design and contractor disciplines on a variety of projectsIndependent, self-motivated and with high standard of professional integrityCandidate must demonstrate strong safety leadership and stewardship as well as exhibit skills and competencies to drive success with critical facility systemsShould have excellent facilitation and communication skills necessary to interface with business partners, external suppliers, team members, technologists and peers.
