Process Engineering Specialist

Process Engineering Specialist needed for 2nd shift in Fairview, Pa. Interested candidates should have at least 1 - 3 years processing experience in an injection molding environment or educational lab environment and be familiar with processing techniques related to precision plastic injection molding.

Responsibilities

Setting cavity units & discrete injection molds into molding presses and configuring the press work cell based on automation requirements, support equipment requirements, etc.

Starting up injection molding machines for new molds using scientific molding techniques.

Working with QA staff to obtain approved production parts.

Monitoring processing activities to ensure optimum cycle times.

Troubleshooting processes as necessary to eliminate process related problems.

Providing guidance and instruction to production personnel.

Assisting with the support of production related activities (such as basic part inspection, continuous tooling, and engineering improvement projects, etc.) as needed/assigned throughout the shift.

Qualifications and Skills

Must Have bachelors degree and/or coursework in Plastics Engineering and basic computer skills are necessary.

Must Have 1-3 years processing experience in an injection molding environment or educational lab environment and be familiar with processing techniques related to precision plastic injection molding.

Must Have a take charge attitude with sound decision making abilities, independent work ethic and solid written / oral communication skills are also required.

Must Have the ability to cooperate with others and work as a member of a team in a dynamic and fast paced work environment.

Must Have Good Attendance

Must Have High School Diploma/GED

Must be able to read and write English.

Full Time

2nd Shift 3pm to 11:30pm

Pay Rate is $19-$25 per hour BOE.

Weekly pay while employed through Career Concepts
