Our Opportunity

North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Business Systems Analyst - II to join our team. The ideal candidate will review, analyze, evaluate, manage, and maintain assigned business systems, develop value-added technical solutions to address NAL business and information needs, and provide end-user application and technical support.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Your Priorities
  • Works with key users and software vendors to support business requirements.
  • Develops and maintains reports within the business intelligence system.
  • Recommends processes and procedures, coordinates user requests for custom development, system authorization, and data access with IT management.
  • Plans and coordinates testing and upgrades of supported applications and other maintenance activities.
  • Works with Corporate and/or Plant Training, addressing end-user training issues and developing training materials and processes, and/or conducts end-user training.
  • Documents and maintains all process and system environments for assigned business systems.
Requirements

Your Background

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, plus 2-4 years of experience supporting financial, manufacturing, and/or automotive release systems applications, and developing end user reports for business applications.

Experience with the following is preferred:
  • Document Control Systems and/or Technical Writing
  • One or more application/Web development languages
  • Relational Database Management Systems and Structured Query Language
  • ERP and/or MES applications
  • Supporting client-server applications in a Microsoft Windows server environment.
