Pharmacy Technician I - Prn Work location: Texas Health HEB 1600 Hospital Parkway TX 76022 Work hours: PRN (As Needed) Rotating shifts Pharmacy department highlights: Team based environment Workplace culture Great benefits/ 401k / PTO We operate on lean principles and rely heavily on a team atmosphere and individual performance Highly engaged pharmacy management Education High school diploma or equivalent required Experience 1 year pharmacy tech experience in healthcare setting strongly preferred Licenses and certifications RPhT - Registered pharmacy technician upon hire required Other IV certification preferred What you will do Timely and accurate preparation, delivery & storage of medications, including (when appropriate) the use of technology to do so. Ensuring accuracy of one's own work as well as the maintenance of required competencies, and other documentation. Must reflect consistently departmental QI and PS standards, programs and initiatives. Ongoing professional development and growth. Communicate effectively, develop working relationships and role model teamwork Manages own time and shares the responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs (including wastage) and discovering new process efficiencies. Other duties as assigned Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Hurst-Euless-Bedford is a 296-bed, acute-care facility serving Northeast Tarrant County since 1973.
