Wealth Advisor, Project Lead

Centura Wealth Advisory is seeking a Wealth Advisor, Project Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for collaborating with a team to deliver exceptional service and have a client-centric mindset. This role is pivotal in ensuring enhanced client satisfaction and driving the strategic goals of our firm.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The key areas of responsibility include:
Project Leadership: Lead and manage wealth management projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with the firm’s strategic objectives.
Client Relationship Management: Serve as a point of contact for clients, fostering strong, long-term relationships and effectively providing solutions to their wealth management needs
Team Collaboration: Collaborate and coordinate with an internal team made up of a Technician, Investment Advisor, Associate Advisor, Paraplanner, and support staff, as well as an external team of financial and legal professionals
Financial Planning and Advice: Provide comprehensive financial planning and advisory services to ultra-high-net-worth and high-net-worth “UHNW/HNW” clients
Performance Monitoring: Track and report on project management, ensuring milestones and objectives are met, and implementing corrective actions when necessary
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all projects and client interactions adhere to regulatory requirements and the firm’s policies, managing risk proactively
Client Onboarding: Ensure the onboarding process for new clients is a smooth and successful transition and their financial goals and requirements are understood
Market Research and Analysis: Stay informed on market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes to provide clients with up-to-date advice and innovative wealth management solutions
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the wealth management function
Training and Development: Mentor and train junior advisors and staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following KSFs:

Comfortable serving UHNW/HNW clientele
Highly competent in pulling in outside resources as appropriate (outside professionals & other Centura Wealth Advisory teams (life, investments, etc.)
Process driven with strong project management skills
Able to deliver feedback appropriately & consistently
Excellent at delivering white glove service
Understand advance planning strategies and how they can close the coordination gap for the UHNW/HNW
High emotional intelligence to support team and clients
Project management experience – management from start to finish, ability to ID next steps, ability to be candid with others to progress project forward/give feedback
Extremely organized with great follow-up
Willing to follow an organizational process and deliver A+ work
Client facing with strong presentation skills
Able to “tell a story” through a deliverable using Excel
Proficiency in using Salesforce
Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and solving problems
Licensing & Education:
CFP (preferred)
Experience:
5+ Years experience in financial planning & wealth management
3+ Years of people management
5+ Years in planning experience (income & wealth transfer tax)
