Responsibilities Include:

  • Support sales staff through post-orders processes.
  • Manage account backlog to ensure on time delivery.
  • Organize communications between multiple departments to ensure smooth processing flow.
  • Proactively notify sales of any pending delinquencies and provide suggested solutions that can be presented to customers.
  • Update orders based on customer and sales requests.
  • Follow the production of materials to ensure timely delivery.
  • Interface with manufacturers and suppliers to request delivery information.
  • Ensure proper follow-up activities are taken to bring full closure to any open item.
  • Work closely with the Product Management team to ensure purchasing needs are being met.
  • Act as a liaison between sales, material planning group, supplier partners, and warehouse staff.
  • Handle confidential information with professionalism.
  • Drive increased sales by supporting target customers.
  • Provide an excellent customer experience.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.
Required Skills:
  • Able to demonstrate strong attention to detail and willingness to adhere to procedures.
  • Effective communication both verbally and written.
  • Display critical thinking to resolve problems and find solutions.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Understands Microsoft Suite applications, especially Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Willing to contribute to a positive work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with SAP or ERPS Systems.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Distribution or supply chain experience.
  • Ability to navigate Powell systems and warehouse operations.
Working Conditions:
  • Onsite working hours of Mon-Fri., full 40 hour workweek during regular business hours
