Compiles and sorts financial information to establish and maintain the standard cost and perpetual inventory systems for the plant. Responsible for setting standards for raw material cost, labor routings and roll-ups and providing recommendations for cost efficiency. Works on special projects regarding cost monitoring and estimating. Prepares annual budget for manufacturing facility, reviews monthly actual cost vs. budget spending reports and discusses variances with the Plant Manager. What they are looking for: Bachelors in Accounting or a related field. 3+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with cost accounting experience. Must be proficient with Microsoft products including Excel. Some experience with an ERP system, preferably JD Edwards or AS400. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are needed. Solid work history, they have no interest in job hoppers. Must be organized and meticulous.
