Lochner is seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to work on projects in RI.

Your impact:

• Management of the construction project to assure the Contractor's compliance with the contract documents
• Supervision of office and field staff
• Project inspection and contract administration under the direction of the RIDOT Area Construction Engineer and the Project Manager
• Coordination with adjacent construction projects
• Considerable knowledge of roadway, structure, traffic engineering, construction methods, procedures, practice, plans specifications and contracts, materials used and performance, environmental regulations
• Working knowledge of the RIDOT Standard Specifications and Standard Details

Who you are:

• BS in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• 4+ years managing complex construction projects is required. Design/build experience a plus
• Professional Engineer License (PE) in the State of Rhode Island preferred or must obtain PE licence within 1 year.

Work Environment
