**PURPOSE**

To ensure our guests experience in the restaurant is pleasant by greeting guests with a smile, seating guests in appropriate sections, performing money transactions on the POS register, and handling cash accurately.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES**

* Greet and seat guests with a smile in the proper section following the Rotation Procedure.

* Ask the Guest for feedback on their meal, and invite them back as they leave the restaurant.

* Operate POS Register, handle cash accurately, complete daily register transactions, and make deposit to the vault.

* Check back with the guests during their meals to ensure they are satisfied with the restaurant and their service.

* Inform guests of special events and answer questions about Casino events.

* Support servers on the floor with cleaning floors, arranging tables, and filling water glasses and coffee cups.

* Keep Supervisor updated on the business flow of the restaurant.

* Stock all cashier supplies.

* Complete daily and weekly cleaning duties.

* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements **Education and Experience:**

* None.

**Skills and Abilities:**

* Effective communication skills.

* Ability to handle detailed instructions, relate to others and have a courteous attitude under pressure.

* Excellent math skills with experience in cash handling.

* Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all gaming and personnel matters.

* Ability to tactfully and diplomatically deal with the public and team members.

* Must possess a high regard for customer service and employee relations.

**PREFERRED**

**Education and Experience:**

* High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).

* Previous Guest Service experience.

* Two (2) years Restaurant and Cash Handling experience.

**Skills and Abilities:**

* Knowledge of MICROS or equivalent POS System.

* Snoqualmie Casino Career Development Track Series completion.
