Senior Java/Full Stack Developer

We’re opening the position of a Senior Java/Full Stack Developer to work with our Customer who is a respected German certification and testing organization that operates in several industries, including aerospace, railway, automotive, medical technology, wind power, and piping systems. They specialize in mechanical and environmental testing to ensure that materials, components, and full-scale structures are durable and strong. Their experts perform tests according to established standards and conduct experimental investigations to speed up new developments, differentiate products, and validate them for market access. With a massive test space, the Customer’s facilities can conduct full-scale tests of products as large as entire airplanes and rockets.

Responsibilities:
  • Create clean and efficient code within the Java ecosystem
  • Handle the conception, development, documentation, and testing of engineering applications (full stack)
  • Take technical ownership of developed features and modules
  • Provide technical guidance on requirements and implement optimized features
  • Contribute to digitalization projects from conception to deployment
Requirements:
  • An academic degree in IT or Engineering (Bachelor’s or Master’s) and a minimum of 2 years of professional experience utilizing the Java stack
  • Proficiency in Java frameworks such as Spring Boot
  • Proficient use of tools including Gradle, Git, GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong command of spoken and written English
  • Being motivated, team-oriented, with a structured and independent approach to work
  • Being enthusiastic about Engineering-related topics
