Position Summary...

What you'll do...

This position is responsible for the operation of a fashion department. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job related responsibilities and duties as assigned and/or necessary. Essential Functions An individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without a reasonable accommodation. Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales. Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities. Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices. Customer Experience Optimization: Applies knowledge of customer demographics, behaviors and decision trees to create analytical reports (e.g., click-path, traffic) to identify site improvement areas (e.g., search, navigation, filters, product sorting) and opportunities to optimize the online customer experience. Makes recommendations to enhance website usability and improve conversion rates for products within the category, leveraging various analytics. Evaluates customer reviews, looking for trends across the category and multiple websites. Analyzes patterns and determines where to enhance site capability to drive customer selections. Visual Merchandising Presentation: Completes visual merchandising presentation for category products by preparing appropriate descriptions, selecting suitable and enticing images and linking products within and across categories. Determines the best mix of images for the category and uploads images and content onto the sites, following protocol for taxonomy. Reviews products in a category, develops links across products, describes items in detail, and prepares site content for placement on all websites. Category Review and Monitoring: Monitors online presence for products in a category across multiple websites to inform category recommendations. Generates and analyzes reports detailing site and mobile traffic (e.g., click-path, page visits, search), examining results against objectives and informing category teams where modifications may be warranted. Reviews site content, usability and traffic patterns for products within a category to ensure it's accurate, engaging and optimized for search and navigation. Monitors sub-category data and identifies opportunities (e.g., search, product sorting, pricing adjustments) to improve category performance. Identifies potential new analytics to be requested from Retail Analytics function. Collaboration: Collaborates with cross-functional category teams (e.g., Category Management, Pricing, Marketing, Engineering) to optimize product performance and develop new ideas for category site. Shares observations about category site traffic, and visual presentation themes with category management team and suggests potential improvements. People Development: Coaches less experienced team members and provides feedback to enhance skills, knowledge and work performance. Mentors less experienced Site Merchandising Associate Merchants. Supports training for Site Merchandising Associate Merchants.
