We are seeking a board-certified Pathologist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in West Virginia. This opportunity begins on Jan 5, 2026, with a Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm schedule. The role involves general AP/CP pathology duties, working alongside a team of four doctors and one physician assistant, with a daily volume of 65-70 cases across surgical, GI, GU, gynecologic, and breast pathology. Job Details * Location: West Virginia * Start Date: Jan 5, 2026 * LOA: 120 days * Provider Type Needed: Pathologist * Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm; 4 MDs and 1 PA; 65-70 cases per day Responsibilities and Duties * Perform general anatomic and clinical pathology duties * Interpret and diagnose surgical, GI, GU, gynecologic, and breast pathology cases * Collaborate with the pathology team to ensure accurate and timely reporting * Participate in daily case reviews and interdisciplinary discussions * Adhere to laboratory protocols and quality standards Additional Information * Must be board certified in Pathology - Anatomic and Pathology - Clinical * Active West Virginia medical license required * Previous hospital-based laboratory experience preferred Benefits * Strong compensation * Travel-related expenses covered * A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided * Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
