Job DetailsJob LocationBranch 23 - Tuscaloosa, ALPosition TypeFull TimeDescriptionPosition Summary:Branch Sales Associate role touches every aspect of branch operation. A high standard of care, follow-up, and follow through is expected to create and maintain mutually beneficial customer relationships, from lead generation to the close. You will work with the team at the branch contributing to the overall success of the store including monitoring inventory, shipping/receiving, achieving sales goals, and striving to exceed customer expectations. Branch Associates are expected in time to be ready and able to perform as "manager for the day."Responsibilities:Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales serviceAssess customers needs and provide assistance and information on product features"Go the extra mile" to drive salesMaintain a neat and tidy workplace: the counter, the showroom, the warehouse and the restroomsActively seek out customers in store and in the field as applicableRemain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available optionsCross sell productsTeam up with co-workers to ensure proper customer serviceBuild productive trust relationships with customersStock store displays and shelves as requiredStrive for inventory accuracy of 100%, maintaining all inventory policies including but not limited to proper inventory movement, cycle counting and the annual physical inventoryMay be required to make deliveries to the customerEnsure that the store and all its properties are upholding the expectations of the Keeling Company brand: exceeding customer service expectations, cleanliness, atmosphere, and high energy.All other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager or Keeling Company Leadership Team.Employees of Keeling Company have the right to refuse dangerous or unsafe work.QualificationsJob Requirements:Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. From the floorForklift certification provided by Keeling CompanyAbility to use the computer for e-mail, invoicing and inventory managementHigh School degree or equivalentHigh energy and self motivated with high sense of urgency and customer serviceTechnical or Agricultural Degree is a plus1 year prior proven accomplished sales experience is a plusProduct certifications as required and provided by Keeling CompanyKeeling Company is a completely tobacco free workplace. All employees must adhere to the no tobacco policy when on any Keeling Co. property, driving Keeling Co. vehicles and representing Keeling Co. at job sites, with customers, or at Keeling Co. sponsored activities.
