Job Summary:

The Vice President Project Management is responsible for leading a team of resources to manage and coordinate key projects and operational activities that are cross functional in nature or not logically owned within a single organization in the Company.In addition to managing the project management team, this role is also responsible for directly managing the Company's most strategic and critical cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Define the project standards and operational support across the organization
  • Establish strong relationships with Executive Leadership and ensure strategic alignment with the PMO team
  • Set the standards for and monitor compliance with Experity Success System (ESS) processes across the organization; lead cross-functional team of ESS Coaches
  • Organize, facilitate, and supervise the organization's integration strategies and activities
  • Lead, develop and manage Sr. Project Managers, Project Managers, Program Managers, and Project Coordinators
  • Define the ongoing Project Management strategy for the best alignment with the company's strategic initiatives
  • Manage, track, support, and report on a variety of projects, processes, and project resources
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date project management education and training for the organization
  • Deliver accurate and timely operational and/or project status updates to represent the project portfolio
  • Identify risk and actively pursue effective risk management strategies
  • Point of escalation for internal and external project resources
  • Foster effective and positive business relationships with all parties throughout project and integration phases
  • Cultivate and manage vendor relationships as assigned

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of five years of related experience involving project management, EMR Implementation, clinic management or related fields
  • Minimum of five years of leadership progression managing direct reports
  • Proficient in Windows based applications, and MS Office suite of products
Preferred:
  • Certification in business process management or Lean/Lean Six Sigma
  • Experience working in Healthcare, Software Development, or Information Technology
  • Experience using Smartsheet software
Travel:
  • 10% or less
