Working in an outpatient setting, the therapist will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans, support families, and promote functional communication and swallowing skills.+ **Key Responsibilities:**1.2. Conduct thorough evaluations of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children.3. Use standardized testing, observational assessments, and parent/teacher reports to identify the child's needs.4. Develop individualized treatment plans based on the child's diagnosis, developmental level, and goals.5. Set short-term and long-term goals in collaboration with parents, caregivers, and other professionals.6. Provide direct therapy to improve speech articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language, and feeding/swallowing skills.7. Utilize evidence-based techniques and therapies, including play-based, child-centered approaches and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices, when needed.8. Work closely with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals (e.g., pediatricians, occupational therapists, physical therapists) to provide coordinated care.9. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, treatment sessions, and discharge summaries.10.
