Indirect Lending Underwriter/Administrator II (BNC National Bank - Bismarck, ND Main Branch) As the lead of our Indirect Lending team, you will manage the indirect lending portfolio by underwriting and making loan decisions based on BNC National Bank’s Indirect Lending Policy. You will also provide additional support with the administration and management of our existing indirect lending portfolio in addition to processing and funding of new indirect loans. You will provide friendly and efficient customer service that builds our customer’s trust and loyalty. You will work closely with and build relationships with all Finance & Insurance (F&I) staff at the auto, boat, and RV dealerships in which we have executed agreements with. Underwrite and analyze consumer loan applications submitted by the dealerships Make appropriate loan decisions based on BNC National Bank Indirect Lending Policy. Review loan documents for accuracy prior to loan setup and funding. Monitor and complete required documentation in pledged collateral (receive titles with BNC listed as Lienholder and complete UCC filings when necessary). Manage and administer the existing indirect loan portfolio by monitoring tickler items, collecting titles and insurance, monitoring past due loans and collections, and processing title releases related to loan payoffs. Provide training in all aspects of the indirect lending department to other staff members. Review underwriting completed by other indirect lending staff and provide recommendations for loan decisions. Ensure compliance with all applicable bank policies, procedures and regulatory statutes. Develop and maintain professional customer relationships,provide friendly and efficient customer service, and cross-sell services. Provide assistance to others as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Desired Experience, Knowledge & Abilities

Previous Indirect Lending or Consumer Lending experience required (minimum of 3 years).

Working knowledge of indirect lending products and services offered by F&I staff at dealerships preferred.

Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Considerable knowledge and understanding of credit and risk management, overdraft management, and pricing philosophy. Ability to make decisions that affect other people, the financial resources, and/or the image and reputation of the bank.
