Shifts Available: 36 hours per week, Variable Shift, 12-hour work schedule Full Time RN - Acute Care UnitThe Acute Care Unit is a fast-paced environment where Registered Nurses (RNs) provide direct patient care to critically ill patients. RNs in this unit must be able to think critically and make decisions quickly in order to provide the best possible care for their patients.Responsibilities of the RN in the Acute Care Unit include:Administering medications and treatmentsMonitoring patient vital signsProviding patient educationWorking closely with other members of the healthcare teamQualifications for the RN in the Acute Care Unit include:Graduation from an accredited nursing programUpon hire: Washington Registered Nurse LicenseUpon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart AssociationGraduation from an accredited nursing program and is newly licensed with 12 months of experience or less.Preferred Qualifications:Upon hire: National Certification in area of specialty, unless otherwise indicated.
