Apply with us to be a Custodian Substitute No experience necessary MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Current Maine CHRC (Active fingerprints with Dept. of Education or ability to obtain) Citizenship, residency or work visa required Pass a criminal background check and pre-employment physical DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Clean assigned areas of the school, including classrooms, hallways, bathrooms and common areas Vacuums and clean floors Removes trash Maintains outside areas of the school during winter months as needed Work cooperatively with the head custodian and coworkers QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Strong work ethic and attention to detail Required to have prompt, regular attendance for scheduled hours Must be able to work on your feet for several hours a day and lift up to 50lbs as needed PHYSICAL ABILITIES AND WORKING CONDITIONS The physical abilities, working conditions and other conditions of employment listed in this document are representative of, but are not intended to prove an exhaustive list of the requirements for positions in this classification.
