Job Title: Recruitment Specialist

Reports To: Director of Corporate Recruitment

Location: Wall Township, NJ (On-Site)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, Full-Time

Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm

Pay: Hourly, Non-Exempt

The Recruitment Specialist provides support to the Corporate Recruitment department. The Recruitment Specialist will be responsible for screening incoming applications, scheduling interviews and supporting terminal locations. The ideal candidate will handle all initial and follow up communications with potential candidates using an ATS and track the new hire process until completion.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Act as the recruitment coordinator for job openings in New Jersey & Southeast locations
  • Review candidate applications in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other platforms to fill job vacancies
  • Use ATS daily to screen and disposition applicants, add notes, track, and update candidate's application status
  • Maintain and monitor job boards, job ads and other talent management platforms (Indeed, ZipRecruiter etc.)
  • Communicate initial hiring requirements to each candidate prior to the interview and start date such as backgrounds checks, drug testing etc.
  • Reach out to qualified candidates in a timely manner to schedule interviews
  • Interview applicants by phone, video chat, and/or in-person
  • Schedule interviews with location management and notify staff of any changes
  • Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process regarding the status of their application by phone, email, SMS text
  • Actively maintain positive candidate engagement throughout the entire hiring process
  • Handle recruitment accounts, invoices and data allocations to be sent to accounting department
  • Ensure candidates are consistently updated in ATS to match onboarding system and provide additional assistance with onboarding as required
  • Work closely with management to ensure the hiring process runs smoothly
  • Work with the Regional Recruitment teams on red zones and ad hoc projects as needed
  • Provide ATS support for system end users
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of recruiting or onboarding experience is preferred
  • High School Diploma/GED or Associates Degree in human resources or related field
  • Flexible with willingness for light travel, as needed and as circumstances dictate

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15lbs
