JOB SUMMARY:Sapphire at Firwood Gardens is seeking an an experienced Director of Health Services (RN)/Wellness Director (RN) to lead our clinical department. In this role you will collaborate closely with the Executive Director to ensure the highest standard of care for our residents. The Director of Health Services will oversee and conduct assessments, develop care plans, coordinate resident care, and provide leadership and education to our dedicated Health Services team. This position is also supported by a dedicated LPN. Our ideal candidate will be proficient in Oregon laws and regulations and have a strong background working in Community Based Care settings. RESPONSIBILITIES:Implement new procedures and protocols as needed to enhance resident careTrain, supervise, lead, and motivate the Health Services team to deliver compassionate comprehensive careThe Director of Health Services (RN) will assist clinical staff in identifying changes in resident condition and provide appropriate interventionsCommunicate with residents, staff, family members, etc. as neededMaintain effective communication with residents, families, staff, etcUtilize standard precaution knowledge and infection control measures where requiredKnowledge of and ability to conform to the applicable Oregon law, rules and regulationsOversee nurse delegationConduct follow-up assessments for residents that have had a change in condition or chronic skin issueOther Duties as AssignedREQUIREMENTS:Active Oregon RN LicenseProven experience in Community Based Care settingsProficiency in Oregon laws and regulations pertaining to healthcareStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse teamExcellent communications and interpersonal abilitiesCommitment to providing compassionate and quality care to our residentsBENEFITS:Benefits of being a Sapphire Health Services employee include, but is not limited to:401K Medical, Dental, VisionBirthday/Holiday PayWellness FundUniform FundLongevity BonusesQuarterly Vacation DrawingTuition ReimbursementHOW TO APPLY:At Sapphire Health Services we are dedicated to creating a supportive and enriching environment for both our residents and our team members.
