Job DescriptionPurpose of the roleTo help clients with technical evaluation for acquisitions, divestitures and financial solutions to meet their business objectives.AccountabilitiesAnalysis of technical (petroleum / reservoir engineering) data to provide inputs for financial model used to market client's asset, or help with investment opportunities.Provision of engineering support for transactions, including drafting presentation materials, and preparing data room documents.Collaboration with other team members in generating A&D / M&A ideas for clients.Building / leveraging of network of industry contacts to stay informed about the technical aspects of the business, and leverage that knowledge for related pitch work and assignments.To help clients with technical evaluation for acquisitions, divestitures and financial solutions to meet their business objectives.Assistant Vice President ExpectationsTo advise and influence decision making, contribute to policy development and take responsibility for operational effectiveness. Collaborate closely with other functions/ business divisions.Lead a team performing complex tasks, using well developed professional knowledge and skills to deliver on work that impacts the whole business function. As a AVP in our Acquisitions and Divestitures team, you will support senior bankers in advising clients on strategic M&A transactions. Your analytical skills and industry knowledge will be key in driving successful outcomes for our clients.To be successful as a AVP Acquisitions and Divestitures, you should have:Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably Petroleum engineeringRelated experience in Reservoir EngineeringPrior experience in performing Decline Curve Analysis (DCA) and field development planning, including type curve generation, inventory analysis and creating drill schedulesWorking knowledge and understanding of Operations and Geoscience disciplinesSome highly valued skills include:Prior work experience in an A&D team at an E&P company orinvestment bank with experience preparing and reviewing VDRs relat3ed tobuy-side and sell-side due diligencePrior work experience in A&D team at E&P company or investmentbank with exposure to VDRExperience conducting buy-side and sell-side due diligenceYou may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.This role is located in Houston.This role is regulated by FINRA.
