Pharmacy Technician As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in preparing patients for pharmacist counseling. Your responsibilities will include collecting medication lists and drug allergies, gathering baseline information such as payment methods, shipping addresses, and emergency contacts, and effectively triaging calls to the correct departments. Responsibilities: Collect medication lists and drug allergies from patients. Gather baseline information, including payment methods, shipping addresses, and emergency contacts. Triaging calls throughout the day and directing them to the appropriate departments. Handle between 20 to 40 calls daily, ensuring efficient and accurate information collection. Essential Skills: Must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) in North Carolina. 2+ years of experience in pharmacy operations. Proficiency in data entry and triage. Experience in call center operations. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Nationally Board Certified Pharmacy Technician. Experience with prior authorization processes. Work Environment: This role is based in a call center environment. Work shifts are from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm EST or 11:00 am to 8:00 pm EST, requiring 8 hours a day on the phone. The dress code is business casual. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cary, NC. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $22.00/hr.
