Title: Manager, U.S. Congresses & Events Location: Remote The Manager will support the Consumer, Prescription and Aesthetic businesses in the U.S. by creating and implementing product advocacy solutions for domestic and, at times, international congresses and associated professional events. The Manager will design, pre-plan, and execute high-level Aesthetic, Prescription, and Consumer national and local medical congress and society meetings and events. The Manager will work with the Exhibit Manager to design exhibit booths and displays for all commercial activity according to U.S. and global brand positioning. The Manager has oversight of Cvent data and the Operations Specialist. The Manager will report to the Director, U.S. Congresses & Events. Key Responsibilities: Develops the U.S. Aesthetics, Prescription, and Consumer Congress & Event Calendar and overall meeting strategy in coordination with Director, in collaboration with representatives from Marketing, Sales, and Medical Affairs in North America. Partners with Marketing and Sales teams to design and implement activities at U.S. congresses to further enhance Galderma’s reputation and build brand awareness. Manages logistics, brand strategy, faculty communications, and all facets of pre-planning, communication, on-site preparation and execution of symposia and other special education events for HCP customers. Communicates effectively with internal stakeholders, including formal presentations, to ensure critical messages are delivered succinctly, confidently, and credibly for complete buy-in from a variety of audiences. Fosters excellence of current brand portfolios, analyzes competition in emerging therapeutic markets, and builds advocates amongst the HCP specialty communities’ general population (e.g. dermatology, aesthetics, plastic surgery). Builds strong relationships with external vendors, association/organization partners, and various faculty in dermatology, plastic surgery, and other sub-specialties to reinforce Galderma’s standing in the industry and uphold the company’s favorable reputation. Serves as company representative with these populations in support of specific meetings as well as ongoing relationship management. Negotiates Galderma’s financial contributions for promotional activities, to include sponsorships, exhibit fees, additional marketing activities, and Share of Voice (SOV) at congresses. Prepares, manages, and reconciles both comprehensive and line item event budgets (and any affiliated budgets and financials for contributing SIGs) through the life cycle of each event. Management includes cost savings, cost avoidance, and negotiation for economies of scale where applicable. Supervises junior staff member directly responsible for executing Tier 4 meetings and those supported by online ordering capabilities. Other duties as assigned. Preferred Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is required. CMP preferred. Knowledgeable of current compliance standards and legal aspects of events planning as it relates to state and federal laws. 3+ yrs Pharma Event Management experience.
