**Food Runner**

at Spur Jobs Huntsville, AL Spur is looking for upscale hard working food runners in the Huntsville area. Rhythm on Monroe is connected to the VBC. You are responsible for delivering the prepared food to the guest and removing any used dishes or utensils from the table. You will also be helping fellow team members with side work throughout the shift. The ideal candidate will value the experience of patrons and work well under stress in a fast pace restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will also have upscale service experience.

**The duties and requirements for this position are:**

* Providing excellent customer service.

* Deliver food from the kitchen to the correct table or bar position quickly and accurately.

* Ensure all garnishes and food items are delivered at the peak of quality and inform management prior to delivery if items dont appear to be prepared properly.

* Deliver additional guests request to the table.

* Ensure that we have clean trays, tray jacks, and assist in keeping the expo station cleaned/stocked. Follow all cleaning and organization schedules as assigned.

* Ensure that you are helping all servers and bartenders keep up with all running side work during peak hours.

* You must adhere to all safety/sanitation requirements and have good personal hygiene

* Must have strong communication skills, a high attention to detail, electronic and computer proficiency.

* Must be able to lift a minimum of 30lbs.

* Rhythm on Monroe expects employees to work their schedule as it is assigned to them weekly. Call outs must be approved by Manager on Duty before scheduled shift and must be accompanied by a doctor's excuse.

**Qualifications:**

* Must pass a background check.

* Must have a minimum of 1-2 years of restaurant experience. (Upscale pref.)

* Must have upscale service experience.

* High School Diploma/GED.

* This job will require you to be available day/night shifts, weekends and holidays.

**Pay Rate: $8p/hr plus tips**
