Job Purpose: Assist Shipping & Receiving Department in terms of outgoing and incoming freight and packages. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist delivering and pick up of freight and packages to campus. Assist with preparing outgoing shipments. Supplemental Functions: Assist with postal deliveries as needed. Competencies: Attention to detail, customer service oriented, safety conscious, able to lift 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation, comfortable with computer usage. Minimum Qualifications: High School Degree or equivalent GED. Desired Qualifications: Shipping & Receiving experience, able to lift 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation, competent ability with verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in person and over the phone, knowledge of UPS and FedEx shipping systems (creating labels for outgoing packages), basic computer skills, including most Microsoft programs, ability to drive larger delivery vehicle in tight campus locations.
