Summary: Operates and sets up a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts, applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures. Competencies: Able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
