Job Title: Battery Test Engineer

Duration: 12 Months

Location: San Jose, CA

Pay Rate: $50 to $70/hr.

Job Description:

  • Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing electronics or manufacturing test equipment for mass production products.
  • Strong understanding of mixed-signal (analog and digital) testing techniques.
  • Proven track record of creating simple and elegant solutions for complex testing requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-starter with outstanding time management skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to produce clear and concise technical documentation.
  • Proficient in using test and measurement tools and software.
  • Experience with data analysis and statistical tools to support technical decisions.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the automotive, consumer electronics, or energy storage industries.
  • Knowledge of battery management systems and battery pack testing.
  • Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages.
  • Lean manufacturing and have Six Sigma certification or experience.
