We have an immediate opening for a highly experienced local driver in Milwaukee WI and will involve operating large, branded DOT vehicles, coordinating vehicle maintenance & repairs, and event set-up and break down.
This 1099 contract starts January 1, 2022 and will run for the duration of the year. This is an in-market program, so you will be home every night. **CORE RESPONSIBILITIES**
* Safely driving a 26' box truck (CDL not required)
* Perform routine inspections of vehicle to ensure safe operations
* Schedule routine maintenance of vehicle for DOT compliance as well as looks "show ready" at all times
* Daily event set-up and breakdown for a mobile retail showroom
* Capable of lifting 50+ pounds
* 5 days per week, Wednesday through Sunday
* Be "of service" to client
* Work well as a team as well as independently
**EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:**
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Preferred 5+ years experience driving oversized vehicles
* DOT certification is a plus
* Mechanically inclined
* Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems on the fly
* Friendly, positive personality
