IT Applications Engineer

Our client is seeking an IT Application Engineer. Must be able to work onsite in Apex, NC.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. Qualified applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Meeting with users and review of project requirements
• Project management in cooperation with the technical project manager
• Preparation and monitoring of project plans and project budget.
• Customizing (customization) of applications to meet project objectives
• Participation in the creation of project documentation
• Management and supervision of external service providers within the project processing
• Develops solution proposals for the technical further development of application software
• Plans the update of application software in cooperation with the IT Infrastructure Team

Required Experience, Education, Skills and Competencies:

• 5 years of professional experience in a consulting environment or several years of in-depth IT application knowledge
• Experience in ERP systems, especially for intuitive ERP, Aptean Industrial Manufacturing ERP.
• Experience in project management
• Analytical, conceptual and process-oriented
• Independent and team-oriented, communicative, assertive
• SAP knowledge would be nice to have

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong teamwork capabilities, with experience working in both independent and collaborative settings
• High-level problem-solving skills, with a knack for analytical, conceptual, and process-oriented thinking
• Assertive and proactive in managing projects and addressing issues

Required Certifications/Education:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Certifications in ERP systems (especially Intuitive ERP) are highly desirable

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
