Frontend Developer

The Frontend Developer will support the mission of Sight & Sound by designing and developing applications and interfaces that are accessible yet secure. They will combine creative concepts and design with cutting-edge technologies to create innovative site designs, marketing, social media, and motion graphics for all of the business' web properties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop user interfaces using Angular best practices.
• Architect, adapt and upgrade interfaces for modern internet applications using the latest front-end technologies including existing features.
• Write TypeScript, CSS, and HTML
• Work collaboratively with Product Managers on continuous improvement of all websites' design, user experience, features and functionality; guiding the technical process in order to achieve desired results.
• Work with teams to prioritize needs, resolve issues, develop project criteria (including timeline and budget) and choose solutions; Collaborate on project documentation and best practices.
• Give guidance to improvements of code and website projects including use of our CMS.
• Write and evaluate code to ensure it meets industry standards, is valid, properly structured, and well documented.
• Provide internal customer support to Product Managers, trouble shoot and debug user-reported issues.
• If outsourced development is needed, work with, give guidance to,and review code of contractors.
• Support the development and integration of e-commerce services.
• Integrate with REST APIs developed by the backend team.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to hear and understand information from a variety of contributors
• Ability to receive creative instruction from a collaborative environment and translate the information to a practical application
• Proven time management and project management skills
• Ability to switch between many different websites with varied functionality
• Ability to understand business functions and implement that logic into applications
• Hands on experience with Angular and TypeScript platforms
• Experience with online video, ticketing options and app development a plus
