Associate Biomedical Technician - Clinical Engineering Department at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital in Spokane, WA

Shift Details: Full Time, Day Shift, 40 hours per week

Responsible to provide scheduled maintenance, minor repairs and electrical safety inspections on general patient care medical equipment. Work assigned is moderate in difficulty with general training. Services are performed on, but not limited to, infusion devices, vital signs monitors, compression units and other like devices at multiple locations within Providence. Operates test equipment and other instrumentation in performing tests, inspections and repairs, and is responsible for accurately documenting these services on designated forms and within the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Performs all duties in a manner, which promotes team concept and reflects the Sisters of Providence mission and core values.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Biomedical Technology or Electronics Technology, military or technical school certificate
  • Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience with patient care electronic medical devices at a circuit level
