We are currently seeking energetic, passionate sales assistant for our Nelson store. This is Christmas casual role with hours increasing as we get busier. Must be able to work on the weekends throughout the Christmas period and until the end of January.

* Minimum 15 maximum 30 hours per week through the Christmas season, at least one weekend day required per week.

* $20.00 per hour plus the opportunity to earn bonuses.

***The role:***

* Communicate effectively and contribute to the company's values and culture

* Achieve personal sales targets by achieving excellence in customer satisfaction and assist in achieving store target

* Contribute and add value to the team by demonstrating a willing "can-do" attitude

* Support your team

* Focus on attention to detail, diligence and maximising efficiency and time

***About you:***

* You will be energetic and enthusiastic - a real "people" person

* Retail/hospitality experience required

* Must love interacting with the public, and helping customers find their perfect item.

* Responsible, honest and enjoy building relationships with existing staff is a must.

* You will be professionally presented, well-spoken and experienced in retail sales

* Show an understanding of procedures for handling customer complaints and enquiries

* Have enthusiasm for building morale, loyalty and pride in the store

* Must be a detail-orented people person, with the ability to learn fast, work with a team and multitask. Punctuality a must.
